We are Ryan and Kayla North and we have been parenting kids for the past 17 years. Our parenting journey began when we brought home our oldest daughter through foster care. As foster parents for 10 years, we parented more than 30 kids and saw the challenges that trauma brings to parenting.
At first, we tried a more traditional parenting approach and soon learned that we needed a new method. We needed to build trust and find the meaning behind challenging behaviors. We know that connected parenting strategies work and we want to help you learn to implement them into your family.
Whether you have been through TBRI training or you don’t even know what those letters mean, we are ready to walk you through some key areas of parenting that will revolutionalize your relationship with your kids and bring healing to relational wounds.
Parent coaching is a great way to get to the bottom of challenging behaviors. We will tailor each session to meet the needs of your family. You tell us in the intake what area you would like to focus on and we will start there. As we get to know your family dynamics we will make suggestions for family activities, ways to correct behaviors, and additional resources to help you in your connected parenting journey.
